Nonavinakere is located in Tumkur
District. It is around 64 km south-west of Tumkur and 12 km west of Turuvekere.
In Nonavinakere, there are two
famous temples such as Betarya swamy and Venugopala swamy. Out of them, Sri Gopala
Krishna swamy temple was built during the Chalukya period.
A car festival is held here during
March–April.
Special Attraction
Novaninakere has a large pond that
is about 9 kilometres in diameter. In some seasons, the pond overflows through
the surrounding countryside.
Sri Kadasiddeshwara Mutt
Also, there is another religious
place called kadasiddeshwara Mutt. It is related to god Someshwara.
