The BrahmanyaTirtha
of Abburu was the ashram of Sri Vyasaraja, who was found in the list of great
yatris in the Madhva tradition. In the
tradition of Acharya Madhva, Sri Padmanabha Tirtha, Narahari Tirtha, Madhava Tirtha
and Akshobhya Tirtha, then Jayatirtha, Vidhyadhiraja, Rajendra Tirtha, and the great
BrahmanyaTirtha who took ashram from Purushottam Agara.
Life
The period of BrahmanyaTirtha was from 1443 to 1467. He was born at the age of eight in Abburu and was known as BrahmanyaTirtha by giving sannyas to Sri Purushottam Tirtha.
