Bylahalli is a village situated in Hassan district. It is around 19 km or
12 miles from Hassan. The very old famous Lord Sri Lakshmi Janardhana Swamy temple is situated exactly in middle of
the village.
The 6 km stretch from Hassan to Mangalore is kandali village, on the right side of the highway, and the welcome arch of the Bailahalli area can be seen which reads "Welcome to the Bhoo Vaikunta Janardhana Swamy Temple" known as The ‘Bhoo Vaikunta’.
